Silchar Municipal Corporation 2025 Election is ahead, the district commissioner of Cachar has published the final voter list on July 8. The final electoral roll released on Tuesday after all claims and objections thoroughly reviewed and resolved.
Residents of Silchar urged to check the updates voter list that the names and personal details in the list to avoid any last-minute issues on polling day. To make access easier, the voter list is now available online through the OERMS portal (https://ermssec.assam.gov.in/mc/) and on the official website of the District Commissioner, Cachar.
This advisory has issued by the District Administration to raise public awareness and ensure all eligible voters verify their information promptly.

As per the draft data, the electoral roll covers all 42 wards of the municipal corporation, comprising a total of 269,848 electors. The detailed gender-wise breakup includes:
- Male electors: 130,410
- Female electors: 139,428
- Other (third gender): 10
The voter list spans 293 polling stations across the city.
Claims and Objections: Deadline June 26, 2025
Voters encouraged to thoroughly review the draft list and raise any claims or objections between June 18 and June 26, 2025. Objections can be filed by:
- Visiting the office of the Registration Officer (RO) or the District Administration
- Accessing online facilities via the official websites of the District Administration and State Election Commission
