CM Himanta Biswa Sarma examines the development of the Barak Valley and suggests Barak Bhawan in Delhi and Kolkata.
A pivotal meeting on the development of Assam’s Barak Valley region was chaired by Hon. Chief Minister Dr. Himanta Biswa Sarma at Lok Seva Bhawan on June 10. Barak Valley Ministers, MLAs and representatives from the Barak Valley Development Department was present in the meeting.
In the meeting CM has mentioned several steps ensuring equitable and balanced development in the three districts of Barak Valley—Cachar, Karimganj and Hailakandi.
- The Chief Minister emphasized the significance of accelerating MRI facilities at civil hospitals in the region. He called for strong departmental coordination to accomplish this quickly.
