Atmanirbhar Assam 2024: Assam Government has Reopen the registration link of Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA) for five district where the registration link was closed due to By-election. The district are Bongaigaon, Cachar, Biswanath, Nagaon and Chirang.
The online registration opened from November 25, 2024 and will closed on December 9, 2024. Those who remain for registration can apply now.
About Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA)
The “Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2023” is a visionary initiative aimed at addressing the issue of unemployment and fostering inclusive progress in the state. By empowering the youth with self-employment opportunities and seeking collaboration from various stakeholders, the government is taking a significant step towards building a more self-reliant and prosperous Assam. This holistic approach not only benefits individuals but also contributes to the overall socio-economic development of the state, creating a brighter future for all its residents.
Under this initiative, the government is taking the inaugural step to lay the foundation for a brighter future. The key objective is to enable unemployed youth to become self-reliant by providing them with the necessary resources, guidance, and support. This includes training programs, financial assistance, and access to markets.
Through this scheme, selected entrepreneurs will be provided financial of Rs 2 lakh/ Rs. 5 lakh.
Assam CM said, “Through the Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan (CMAAA) we are aiming a reduction of unemployment and fostering entrepreneurship in Assam. By providing financial assistance, training and market access, this scheme is focused on empowering youth to become self-reliant.”
Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA) Eligibility Criteria
- The applicant must be permanent resident of Assam and residing in Assam
- The applicant must have valid registration in the Employment Exchange
- Age should be above 28 years and below 45 years as on 1st April 2024
Educational Qualification for Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA):
For non-professional course category
- Class X pass for General castes
- Studied up to Class X for candidates belonging to SC/ST/OBC
For professional course category
Applicants possessing 4 years (at least) Degree in the field of Engineering, Medicine. Agriculture. Veterinary & Fishery
Other Qualifications
- The applicant must have skill/ experience/knowledge to perform income generating activity
- The applicant must have a scheduled commercial bank account, opened before 1st April 2024
- The applicant should not be a defaulter in loan repayment taken from any scheduled commercial bank in the past
- Applicant or any of his/her househoid member (spouse/sibling) should not be availing the benefits of CMAAA 1.0
How to apply for Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Assam Abhijan 2.0 (CMAAA) 2024
- To apply for “Chief Minister’s Atmanirbhar Asom Abhijan 2.0” First go through official website
- For new applicants must sign up on CMAAA Portal by providing their name, mobile number and email ID.
- Applicants already signed up in CMAAA 1.0 and who is not a beneficiary of CMAAA 1.0 need not to sign up again and can log in using their old credentials.
- Once logged in, applicant need to fill up all the necessary fields including permanent address, business details etc. in the registration form under the CMAAA 2.0 tab.
- Applicant need to make an online payment
- After successful submission an acknowledgement slip will generated along with a reference number. An SMS and Email is being sent to the applicant.
