A tragic incident took place, where a Student of Assam University, Silchar Law Department of 8th Semester committed Suicide.
The student identified as Prathama Sinha, residents of Sribhumi. The sudden step of the student has kept classmates, teachers and the entire university community in a state of shock and mourning.
According to sources a suicide note has found where she stated that no one should be held responsible for her death.
The university has expressed deep sorrow over the incident, with many students and teachers paying tribute to her memory. An official statement from the university is awaited.
