Assam Government has launched Orunodoi Asoni 3.0 on 19th September 2024 at 11:00 am. The offline and online application of Orunodoi 3.0 has started from today, September 19. The eligible woman candidate can apply for the scheme.
Assam CM Himanta Biswa Sarma said that Orunodoi 3.0 is completely new scheme. The old beneficiaries of the scheme also have to apply for Aurnodai 3.0.
What is Orunodoi 3.0 Scheme or Asoni 2024?
Assam chief minister Hiamanta Biswa Sarma has launched Orunodoi or Arundoi Asoni or Scheme 3.0 for the year 2024 on September 19, 2024. It has first launched in the year of 2020, October 2. This scheme provide monthly financial assistant to women. Assam Government provide Rs.1250 directly to the women bank account who are eligible.
This financial assistance is provided to economically backward classes family woman through Direct Benefit Transfer. In the coming weeks, 12 lakh more beneficiaries will be included in India’s first state-led women-focused DBT initiative.
Who are eligible for Qrunodhoi 3.0
- A candidate should be residents of Assam
- Widow, unmarried (above the age of 45 years), divorced and deserted women
- A transgender
- Person with disability as defined in the Rights of Persons with Disabilities Act, 2016, irrespective of gender
- Old/Infirm women including those residing in Government registered old age home
- Women of the Household, where earning members are either disabled or aged (more than sixty years of age)
- Women in household, where any member is suffering from HIV/ Thalassemia/Haemophilia/ Cerebral Palsy/Leprosy/Autism Spectrum Disorder
- Women in household without shelter
- Destitute women living on alms
- Antyodaya Anna Yojana (AAY) women beneficiaries
- Women in the household where composite income is less than 2 lacs per annum
