The Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam has invited offline applications for providing one-time financial assistance to eligible cultural teams and groups belonging to the Tea Tribes and Adivasi communities under the scheme “Providing Traditional Instruments, Ornaments, Dresses etc. to Tea Tribes and Adivasi Cultural Teams/Groups” for the financial year 2025-26.
According to the official notification, interested cultural teams or groups can submit the hard copy of the filled application form along with the required documents directly to the Office of the Directorate of Tea Tribes and Adivasi Welfare, Assam.
The offline application must submitted between November 13, 2025, and December 12, 2025, from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Applications received after the deadline will not accepted, and the Directorate will not be responsible for any postal loss or delay.
Eligibility Criteria for Assam Tea Tribes & Adivasi Cultural Aid Scheme:
To be eligible, all members of the cultural team or group must belong to the Tea Tribes or Adivasi community.
Each group must consist of at least 10 members and have a bank account with joint signatory provision.
Moreover, teams must recommended by the local MLA or Guardian Minister.
Only one team from each tea garden will selected based on these recommendations.
It has also been clarified that cultural teams already covered under the scheme in the past will not be eligible for double benefits.
Repeated applications from the same or different tea gardens, estates, sub-divisions, or districts will not be considered.
