State Council of Educational Research and Training (SCERT), Assam has released a notification for the Online Admission into 2 years Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) PET for the session of 2025-27. There will be Entrance exam called Pre-Entry Test (PET) for the admission of D.EL.ED course.
Those who want to be a teacher can apply for the diploma course. The course will be conducted in the NCTE recognized Teacher Education Institutes (DIET/CTE/Normal School/BTC/Pvt. TEIs) of the state for the academic session 2025-2027.
The online application has started for the D.EL.ED PET Admission 2025 from 18 May, 2025 and will continue till 5 June 2025. Check the eligibility Criteria that given below or click the official notification that given below.
Assam D.El.Ed Admission PET 2025 Eligibility
A permanent resident of Assam are eligible to apply for the D.EL.Ed
Educational Qualification: The candidates must have passed Higher Secondary (HS) [10+2] from recognized Board/Council with at least 50% marks in aggregate excluding marks secured in the optional/extra/fourth subject
Age Limit: The candidate must not be less than 18 years and not more than 34 years as on 1st July, 2025. There will be relaxation by 2 years in upper age limit for candidates belonging to SC, ST(P) & ST(H) categories
Application Fees: Rs. 600.00 (Rupees Six Hundred Only) for all categories to be paid online through Internet Banking/Debit Card/Credit Card etc. during submission of application form.
Admit Card: Candidates have to download his/her Admit Card from the website https://scertpet.co.in

- Recent passport size photograph (maximum size 100 kb)
- Signature must be taken with a black or dark blue ink on a white paper (maximum size 100 kb)
- Certificate of proof of age (Admit Card / Certificate of H.S.L.C. / equivalent examination) (maximum size 450 kb)
- Marksheet and Pass Certificate of Higher Secondary (H.S.) [10+2] or its equivalent examination (maximum size 450 kb)
- Certificate of Caste from Competent Authority (if any) (maximum size 450 kb)
- Certificate of Persons with Disability (PWD) (if any) (maximum size 450 kb)

A. General English: vocabulary, tenses, verbs, preposition, comprehension, voice-change, narration, adverbs, synonyms, antonyms.
B. General Knowledge: Current affairs, who is who, abbreviations, constitution of India, History of Assam, Inventions and discoveries, Sports. Art and culture, Every day Science, World Organizations, Geography of India, Educational Commissions and Committees, New Educational Initiatives, Educational Organizations.
C. Reasoning: Logical and analytical reasoning, pattern etc.

- Mathematics: Numbers, Fractions, Percentage, Money, Geometry, Measurement, Data Handling, Square & square root, Ratio and proportion and Simple algebraic equation.

- Click on the Register button
- Fill the registration form and then click to save
- Enter OTP than click on Validate button
- Now click on the login and login with Registered phone number and date of birth
- Fill the application form with full details, click on submit
- Upload all the documents
- Preview page and check all the details and click the confirm button
- Pay application Fees and lastly download the Acknowledgement Slip
