Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development Program:-

Inauguration and Objectives:

On the 74th Independence Day, Chief Minister Pema Khandu inaugurated the Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development program, aiming to build a strong entrepreneurial ecosystem in the state. The initiative, led by the Department of Finance, Investment, and Planning, seeks to address local challenges and support aspiring entrepreneurs while inspiring the youth to create job opportunities for others.

Program Framework and Stages:

The program, in partnership with IIM Calcutta innovation park, will unfold across four stages: Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Challenge, Pre-Incubation, Incubation, and Livelihood Accelerator. The first stage, already underway, focuses on identifying and promoting viable business ideas through the contest portal at http:apstartup.in/.

Support and Entrepreneurship Advancement:

The initiative will support 50 selected entrepreneurs, providing them with incubation and pre-incubation programs, where the top 10 will receive up to RS 5 lakhs, while the next 40 will be awarded up to RS 4 lakhs. The tailored 9-month programs aim to assist budding entrepreneurs in realizing their business ideas and scaling their ventures towards commercial success. Additionally, a Livelihood Accelerator program is set to nurture micro-entrepreneurs for a more robust livelihood generation ecosystem in the state.

Benefits Arunachal Pradesh Entrepreneurship Development program:

The IIM Calcutta innovation park will facilitate the incubation and pre-incubation program, selecting the top 50 entrepreneurs. Among them, the top 10 entrepreneurs will receive up to RS 5 lakhs, and the subsequent 40 will award up to RS 4 lakhs.
